Doll Creation School
This is a Doll making school under the
direct supervision of puppeteer Hori Hiroshi.
Whether you are an aspiring professional puppeteer, a hobbyist, or a beginner, you will receive instruction from Hiroshi Hori himself at a level appropriate to your needs.
Every three years, an exhibition of dolls created by all of Hori’s students is held.

Fee
- Admission Fee ¥10,000
- Monthly Tuition ¥10,000
- Material Fee about ¥1,500/Each time
Trial Lesson
- Fee : Material fee only ¥3,000
- Lesson Time: 2 hours (date can be flexible –please ask)
- Experience to create a small doll together

One lesson 3 hours /month
You can also change the date of your course to suit your schedule.
Curriculum
Initially, students will learn the basics.
- First 6 months: Create 1 small doll each month (6 dolls in 6 months)
- Next 6 months: Create 1 small doll every 2 months (3 dolls in 6 months)
Dolls Ex.): a pair of Snow Rabbit, a pair of Fairy Dogs, a pair of Guardian Jizo dolls, a pair of Rabbit Hina Dolls, etc.
